Our newest and most beautiful transformation costume yet! Fabricated by the amazing Veritee Hill, our Ziegfeld Follies inspired Peacock Dancer is surely a head turner!
Last week, our showgirls made their way to Baltimore, MD for the Grand Opening of the Sagamore Pendry Hotel, produced by Stephanie Bradshaw and her team from SB Creative. Located in Baltimore's historic Recreation pier, the newly renovated luxury hotel honors the historic essence of the property, erected in 1914, and reflects the romance of a bygone era. As guests explored the hotel, our classic showgirls mingled on the floor with their sweeping feather fans... as several showgirls adorned the bar, sitting in trapeze swings 10 feet off the ground!
Last night we were transported back to the 1960's in a Madmen styled event with JKS Events to celebrate the brokers that completed their official lease signing for the new spaces at 28 Liberty. Our Go Go Dancers were all the rage as they shimmied and jived around on elevated platforms throughout the party to a live band.
Last weekend, we got down at the The Bowery Hotel for NYC Craft Distiller's Fest where we celebrated Craft Beer with some high flying entertainment by our aerialist on the Lollipop Lyra and beautiful burlesque showgirls. Our Gatsby themed swing couples also danced to the live musical stylings of Baby Soda Jazz Band, engaging guests and pulling them to their feet. Thank you, Sam, for a roaring good time!
Frosty and beautiful, a blizzard day calls for this throwback to our Living Snow Globe at Booklyn Museum for Target First Saturdays in 2013 for the Jean Paul Gaultier retrospective exhibit. During the summer, we can replace the feathers with confetti or balloons for a mobile bubble effect that floats on a pool or glides across the floor.
Last week we decided to run away with the circus! And it took us to ArtBeam gallery for an Ole Henriksen branding event produced by TH Productions. Our top-level cirque performers were dazzling crowds throughout the night with their balancing, flips, and head-spinning tricks. Photos by Patrick MacLeod below.
Sooo many bubbles! This past week was a busy one with multiple gigs on the same night, but the event for Tinsel & Twine at the Rent the Runway Studio was definitely one to remember! Our lovely Mermaid & Merman were there to serve drinks and take photos with guests under an exciting bubble installation. We also had the opportunity to debut our new Bubble Dancer, which must be seen to be believed. Photos courtesy of Tory Williams.
On February 24th, we were pleased to perform in the NYPL's Library After Hours event, "Love in Venice", a part of the La Serenissima: Music and Arts from the Venetian Republic festival program for Carnegie Hall. Our beautiful Baroque-inspired costumed dancers delighted guests with a performance and introductory dance lesson to the 18th century pavane. Thank you to all that took part in this special evening!
This Valentine weekend, we presented a Venetian Valentine Masquerade with Dances of Vice and Company XIV as part of Carnegie Hall’s citywide festival La Serenissima: Music and Arts from the Venetian Republic.
Carnevale di Venezia came to life in our sumptuous, over-the-top fusion of Baroque dance, live music, opera, circus, gender-bending burlesque, and vivid immersive theater into one beautifully thrilling experience.
